Bid-In to BidAid
Huge Rebrand for Silent Auction Brand
Bid-In, a Welsh-based company that has been offering silent auction services to charities and the hospitality industry for over 10 years now, has this week rolled out a re-brand, wanting to enhance their brand identity as they enter an exciting period of growth.
Giving the brand a complete new look and feel, Bid-In has even changed its name to BidAid, aligning its silent auction services closely with its sister company; BidAid.Org.
Bid-Aid.org is an online auction house where charities can auction memorabilia and users can bid on items online. Having listed many celebrity items from big-name sports and entertainment figures, it makes sense for the business to marry its two brands together in this way.
Jamie Baulch, Welsh Olympian and Co-Founder of BidAid, is thrilled with the outcome of the rebrand, crediting his business partner, Leon Hughes, for taking the lead on this project.
“My strengths in the business are very much based on sourcing memorabilia, planning charity auctions and generally managing the day-to-day functionalities of the company. This is why I was happy to take a backseat and allow the creatives of the business to exercise their skills and talents when actioning this re-brand. I am thrilled with the outcome, I think the new site and brand really reflects our mission and vision; to make charity fundraising streamlined and efficient.”
Leon Hughes, Co-Founder of the brand, is equally as pleased with the result of BidAid.com. As a technology entrepreneur and investor, Hughes played an integral role in the planning and execution of this project.
“The new website, BidAid.com, clearly reflects our services and caters to the needs of our customers and visitors. Being easy to navigate and boasting a clean and simplistic design, creating a great user experience has been our objective. This is something we have achieved in abundance, working with the latest design and development technologies to do so. Being completely custom-built, our site is now well equipped to promote the great solutions we have to offer the third sector”
Future plans for BidAid
Finding the company in an exciting time of change, the business has reported expansion in many areas. From catering to an increased number of events outside the UK to working with larger, globally-recognised charities and organisations, the BidAid team has identified a huge gap in the market for what they do. Now equipped with a new look, the BidAid team set their sights on the future, getting closer to their mission to become the number one silent auction provider.
How does BidAid work?
BidAid promotes itself as ‘charity fundraising partners’, having a physical presence at events and handling everything that a silent auction entails. Sourcing the auction items and providing the bidding sheets and technology for attendees to place their bids, the Bid-Aid team plan and execute charity silent auctions for all sorts of organisations. Having worked with major brands such as The Usain Bolt Foundation, Macmillan Cancer Trust, Age Connects, Prostate Cancer UK and many more, BidAid’s exclusive products and services have helped raise millions of pounds for vital courses across the globe.
